It is Hearthstone's 10-year anniversary! To celebrate this occasion, Blizzard is granting players the chance to earn a special card back. Read on for the instructions on how to unlock the 10-Year Anniversary card back in Hearthstone.
Hearthstone 10-Year Anniversary card back
To unlock this card back, you must play 10 games of Hearthstone. The special quest doesn't specify which game mode you can duke it out in. This means you can earn progress by playing the Standard game mode, Wild, and even the weekly Tavern Brawl, for example.
This 10-Year Anniversary Hearthstone quest is available as of March 11, 2024. In an announcement, Blizzard advised players to log in today to complete the quest. It's unclear if this quest expires after Hearthstone's birthday.
After playing 10 games, the card back gets automatically added to your collection of cosmetic items. Press on the "My Collections" button in Hearthstone's main menu, click on the card icon near the top-right side of this collection menu, then right-click the 10-Year Anniversary card back to equip it.
More Hearthstone birthday rewards
In addition to the free card back, you can earn a bunch of anniversary rewards as well. These include a spell card for each class. To add these spells to your collection, click on the "10" button in Hearthstone's main menu to access your quests.
Next, complete the eight anniversary quests for some Event XP. Once you have enough Event XP, redeem them for the free spells. All of these cards feature the Discover keyword. Don't forget to redeem the Birthday Coin as well. This requires 5,000 Event XP.
