Juice WRLD is finally getting a Fortnite skin!
Jarad Anthony Higgins, better known by his stage name, Juice WRLD, is finally coming to Fortnite after years of players and fans requesting this collaboration. The late rapper, who passed away in 2019, has been atop the list of the most demanded Icon Series skins. He has appeared in the game occasionally, but not as a skin. However, a Juice WRLD in-game character model closed out the Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix trailer in an unexpected plot twist. Players will soon have the opportunity to play as him.
Juice WRLD is coming to Fortnite as a skin
The Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix trailer teased the Juice WRLD skin in the closing seconds. It was unmistakable that the character pictured above was none other than the triple-platinum artist. Famous for songs such as Lucid Dreams, Juice WRLD's music has resonated with fans. Demand for him to become a Fortnite dates back several years. With others like Travis Scott, Eminem, and Snoop Dogg earning in-game skins, Juice WRLD fans remained hopeful.
An official blog post outlines its approach to this collaboration and that players who log in between Nov. 30 at 1 a.m. ET and Dec. 1 at 1 a.m. ET will receive the cel-shaded Slayer Juice WRLD Fortnite Outfit for FREE:
Chapter 2 Remix is ending on a special note — catch the Remix: The Finale live event on November 30 at 2 PM ET! To honor Juice’s legacy and love for Fortnite, all players who log in between 1 AM ET on November 30 and 1 AM ET on December 1 will receive the cel-shaded Slayer Juice WRLD Outfit*. Juice WRLD's mother commented on her approval of this collaboration, stating that her son loved to play Fortnite:
"Jarad always loved to play Fortnite – it was more than just entertainment for him, it was a way to connect with others. The Chapter 2 Remix season will also feature in-game tributes to Juice WRLD as an homage to his legacy.
