Is this the biggest Fortnite advertisement of all time?

Fortnite's latest significant update is mere hours away from its worldwide launch. Amid the record-breaking Big Bang event, Fortnite has made its way into the real world via viral marketing. In particular, Fortnite Chapter 5 has taken over the famous Las Vegas Sphere in a moment where gaming meets reality.

The Las Vegas Sphere welcomes Fortnite Chapter 5

Although, at some points, it's been a meme, the Las Vegas Sphere is nothing short of spectacular. It cost an astounding $2.3 million to build across four years. Since its opening, the Sphere has hosted concerts and other events while doubling as a massive billboard.

Enter Fortnite, which has taken over the Las Vegas Sphere ahead of the Chapter 5 launch. In addition to the Fortnite advertisement, fans could spot the LEGO mode, Rocket Racing mode, and Music Festival mode.

Beyond promoting the game, this advertisement speaks volumes about Fortnite's impact on pop culture. It's more than just a game, especially considering the Eminem concert in front of record viewership.

What can you expect in Fortnite Chapter 5?

The hype for Fortnite Chapter 5 is immeasurable as fans prepare for an entirely new experience. Early leaks have indicated plenty of content, including the LEGO collaboration, racing game mode, and music festival.

Peter Griffin and Solid Snake are also confirmed to appear in the Chapter 5 Season 1 Battle Pass. Those tidbits of information merely scratch the surface of what's ahead in the next installment and beyond.

For those who live in the Las Vegas area, you can head to Sphere and witness perhaps the largest Fortnite advertisement in history. For those who aren't in the area, Fortnite Chapter 5 launches on December 3, and you can keep it here for all the latest updates.
