Here are the best moments, plays, and storylines from Fortnite Globals 2025, from the incredible crowd to the eventual winners!
Fortnite Globals 2025 has concluded following two days of arguably the best gameplay we've seen in some time. Many of the game's top players remained in contention until the very end, despite the eventual winners' dominant performance on day one.
The tournament itself had everything fans could have wanted, from unique storylines and incredible plays to three players truly deserving of the "Global Champions" title. Here is a complete recap and some of the best moments from the Global Championship.
Who won Fortnite Globals 2025?

The European trio, comprised of Queasy, Swizzy, and Merstach, claimed the 2025 Global Championship after two hard-fought days of competition. Although the combination of one Serbian, one Russian, and one Latvian player made day one look relatively easy, teams rarely win a two-day tournament on the first day.
Many fans and analysts predicted the EU trio, who failed to win an FNCS Major this year, to claim the Championship based on their skill set, drop spot, and understanding of the game. Behind Queasy's in-game leadership, this trio delivered on all expectations.
Queasy, Swizzy, and Merstach won three games consecutively on day one, earning 521 points and 47 eliminations. Ignoring the cumulative total, Team Queasy struggled on day two, earning just 176 points, but their strategy proved their willingness to win.
Ultimately, an incredible decision to lurk and eventually eliminate a fellow European team comprised of Vanya, Marius, and Pixie sealed the deal. This broke Queasy's curse of finishing second at LANs, which happened twice out of the last three offline events.
The incredible story of Swizzy
19-year-old player Swizzy's journey through competitive Fortnite is something you only see in the movies. A former Fortnite Champion Series winner out of the Asia region, Swizzy moved to the European region, where the prize pool was more generous and the competition stiffer.
Chapter 4 Season 3 proved Swizzy's breakout in the EU region, where he and fellow Russian player Putrick claimed victory in FNCS Major 3. However, Epic Games ultimately nullified the win and ensuing LAN qualification due to sanctions imposed on Russia amid the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
While some may have thrown in the towel, Swizzy's drive brought him to a Ukrainian player named Vanya. This pair won FNCS Major 2 in 2024. Fast-forward to 2025, and Swizzy is now a Fortnite Global Champion.

The intensity of a passionate crowd
French fans regularly show out in esports events with some of the most passionate support across all titles. Fortnite Globals was no different, as the Gentle Mates supporters delivered potentially the best crowd experience in Fortnite history.
While some players, such as Peterbot, Setty, Kami, and others, became targets for boos from the home crowd, the support for Gentle Mates' players was otherworldly.

NA Central wins game one
NA Central didn't have many notable moments throughout the tournament. However, the very first game of Fortnite Globals 2025 went to Khanada, Boltz, and Rapid. This trio ended up being the only North American team to finish inside the top five, and one of two to finish inside the top ten.
Team Queasy wins three straight matches on day one
Dominance on LAN is nothing new in competitive Fortnite, especially in the era of Peterbot. Still, watching the eventual winners claim three consecutive Victory Royales showcases so much about the trio. Queasy's mind for the game, combined with Merstach and Swizzy's fragging ability, created a seemingly insurmountable gap between first and everyone else.
The Crash Pad play of a lifetime
Although not a crucial play in the grand scheme of the tournament, Queasy throwing a Crash Pad down to Swizzy in game 11 personifies Queasy's mind for the game. Most high-level players might make the same play, but Queasy helping his teammate up the mountain was just an incredible moment.
Queasy, Merstach, and Swizzy lurking on their most significant threats
Earlier in this very match, Queasy, Merstach, and Swizzy may have felt the momentum shift and the tournament win potentially slipping away from them. As a result, the trio took matters into their own hands. After memorizing the loot path and rotation of a surging Vanya, Marius, and Pixie, Team Queasy made a move.
While nothing happened immediately, Queasy, Merstach, and Swizzy pursued Team Vanya and ultimately sent them packing back to the lobby, helping ensure their victory.
The winning moment
Nothing is better than watching a team that worked tirelessly all year long hoist the Fortnite Global Championship trophy. Through all the twists and turns the tournament provided, Queasy, Merstach, and Swizzy eliminated all doubt of them being the best trio of the weekend.
With a switch back to Duos confirmed for 2026, it will be interesting to see where competitive Fortnite's top players go from here. For now, that's a wrap on Fortnite Globals 2025, and we wish to congratulate every participant for an incredible display.
