Epic Games has announced Rainbow Royale, a 7-day celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community in Fortnite which comes with a selection of free items and a LOVE IZLV playlist highlighting LGBTQIA+ artists.
On July 20th, Epic Games announced Rainbow Royale to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ Fortnite community. "Everyone is welcome on the Battle Bus" said Epic Games in their official post.
Rainbow Royale will run from July 20th to 27th, and sees six new rainbow themed items added to the Fortnite Shop, all of which are completely free. "Available this week in the Item Shop, players can support diversity in Fortnite with a bunch of free stuff," said Epic.
The six free items are:
- Four Rainbow Royale Sprays: Vibrant Heart, Vibrant Llama, Vibrant Boogie, and Vibrant Star
- Sunshine & Rainbows Wrap
- Take a 'Bow Emote

Rainbow Royale: New tracks added to in-game radio stations highlighting LGBTQIA+ artists
As part of Rainbow Royale, Epic Games have also added a selection of tracks from LGBTQIA+ artists to the playlists within the game. The tracks can be heard on the BEATBOX, RADIO UNDERGROUND and POWER PLAY radio stations accessible within Fortnite when driving vehicles in Battle Royale.
