Here are all the invited teams of the Gamers Galaxy Invitational HatYai

Galaxy Racer just revealed the teams that will compete in the Gamers Galaxy Invitational HatYai. Contrary to its previous edition, this event will host a full SEA lineup.

The second edition of the Gamers Galaxy Invitational is coming to HatYai, Thailand very soon. The event is scheduled to take place right after the PGL Arlington Major from Aug 18 - 20. With 11 more days to the LAN event, Gamers Galaxy finally unveiled the lineup of teams that will compete for the $150,000.

While the previous Gamers Galaxy event that took place in Dubai hosted a more global lineup from multiple regions, this edition sees a SEA concentrated competition. Here are the 8 teams that will compete at the Gamers Galaxy Invitational HatYai on August 18 - 20.

A wave of Dota events loom over Southeast Asia

Currently, the final Major of the year, the PGL Arlington Major is in the midst of its Group Stage. The Arlington Major will end on August 14 and with the Gamers Galaxy Invitational HatYai commencing on August 18, teams would barely have any time to travel and rest. This is likely the reason why no teams from other regions are participating in this event. On top of the HatYai Invitational, ESL One Malaysia is also coming soon on August 23.

However, for all 3 of these huge tournaments, SEA teams will be consistently present. BOOM Esports, Talon Esports, and Fnatic are currently competing at the Arlington Major and they will also be there at HatYai, Thailand, and Genting, Malaysia. Dota 2 fans and especially the SEA audience will be blessed with back-to-back, exciting Dota 2 action.
