Diablo 4 gets more XP and gold

Between Sept. 1 at 10 a.m. PDT and Sept. 5 at 10 a.m. PDT, Diablo 4 players can earn extra XP and in-game gold at a 25% increased rate. This increased rate works for the seasonal and eternal realms alongside every world tier.

Extra gold and XP arrives in time for holiday weekend

Diablo 4's global community development director, Adam Fletcher, noted that this boost in gold and XP will arrive just in time for the holiday weekend ahead. Labor Day is Sept. 4 in the states.

"We have a XP/Gold event starting September 1st in-game through the weekend," he wrote on social media. "Holiday weekend for some!"

"Stoke the fire, gather round, and rally your most savvy of companions to slay demons with renewed fervor. The Blessed Mother’s cruelty is matched by her generosity, but not for long. Rise to new heights and earn more Gold for your bloodlust in the Mother’s Blessing Weekend," the official announcement also noted.

When players launch Diablo 4 between Sept. 1 and Sept. 5, they can check out the icon located beside their potion count. The icon indicates the increase in XP and gold.
