NaVi started off with a pistol-round win with just one death. VP inevitably saved the next, and NaVi found themselves up 3-0. Across the board, NaVi was performing well, allowing them to build a comfortable six-round lead. NaVi’s indomitable force continues, as their T side managed a brilliant 11-1 half with jL leading the charge. NaVi was immediately on match point with a pistol win, but VP retaliated with a forcebuy to take four in a row. But their challenge was insurmountable, and NaVi took the win 13-5.
Mirage - Down to the wire, but NaVi come out on top
w0nderful’s triple started proceedings on Mirage, and NaVi built off of it with a quick triple streak. VP came alive in the gun round, getting two of their own before a beautiful triple lurk from NaVi gave them a round back. 6-3, the two teams stood when VP took a 5-3 advantage early, thanks to James and Electronic. That kickstarted a return into the half for VP as they made it to a 6-6 half thanks to Jame’s heroic save.
A second pistol went the way of NaVi once more. NaVi was playing a great CT side, and even when VP found cracks, they patched them up right away. NaVi’s money was ballooning at this stage, and VP had only one answer. fame’s incredible clutch in a 1v2 vs jL and w0nderful kept VP alive in round 17. That loss triggered NaVi’s final pause, allowing Blad3 to give his input
With their coach in the loop, NaVi turned on the afterburners. Playing with confidence, they quickly marched up to match point. One more glimmer of hope for VP, but NaVi locked in another Grand Finals appearance.
Grand Finals decided for BLAST Premier Spring Finals
NaVi may have won the battle for glory today, but stepping onto the stage tomorrow, they will be David in the fable. Spirit has come through the other half of the bracket and will be the massive favorite for the trophy. NaVi may have already slayed giants once, but can the team challenge donk?
