He’s there to stay.

MOUZ completed the acquisition of Swedish CS2 rifler Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin from Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) on Tuesday, June 11.

The deal sees MOUZ secure Brollan's services on a "long-term contract" after the 21-year-old spent the first half of 2024 on loan from NiP. The community expected Brollan to stay on MOUZ permanently after he put out numerous impressive individual performances, which elevated the level of the international team.

So it was only a matter of when MOUZ would pull the trigger, and they did so as we prepare to head to the player break for the coming weeks after the BLAST Premier Spring Final concludes on Sunday, June 16.

Brollan's journey with MOUZ so far led to the acquisition

Although Brollan had displayed his talent under Fnatic's banner in the start of his career, the same can't be said about the NiP days. The Swede, however, proved under MOUZ's banner that he can perform against the best in the world if the conditions are good.

"His overall rating saw a significant boost from 1.06 with NIP to an impressive 1.14 with MOUZ," MOUZ said in the official announcement. "Additionally, he led the team with a 1.22 impact rating, making him the highest impact player on the roster. This statistical leap highlights Brollan’s ability to consistently deliver clutch plays and key frags. But Brollan isn’t just about the numbers. His positive attitude and energy made him a perfect fit for the team."

With Brollan onboard, MOUZ exceeded all expectations after losing star player David "frozen" Čerňanský to FaZe Clan ahead of the 2024 season. They reached #1 in HLTV's world rankings for the first time in the organization's history off the back of impressive runs at ESL Pro League Season 19 and BetBoom Dacha Belgrade in May, which netted them the trophies.

Brollan will debut as a fully MOUZ player at the Esports World Cup between July 17 and 21.
