  • PARIVISION repeated their win over Team Falcons: no revenge happened. Falcons gave their opponents a strong advantage in the first half on Mirage, and they couldn’t catch it up. Ancient was somewhat closer, but with the same result.

  • NAVI and PARIVISION had a very close match. PARIVISION could recover from an early disadvantage on Inferno and secure this map. Beyond that, NAVI looked pretty strong, and they may give Vitality quite a fight in the tournament’s decisive match.

Vitality against the world to extend their tournament-win streak

We had a short break in the dominant performance of Team Vitality, as they decided to skip the ESL Pro League Season 23. BLAST Open in Rotterdam is the first event for Vitality after winning PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026. It can be the third trophy for them in a row, starting from IEM Kraków.

  • Vitality won all their matches in the group stage, and they are the favorites on the CS2 betting platforms.

The semifinal opponents for Vitality are decided in the match between Aurora and The MongolZ. It is anyone’s game, even if Aurora players have a theoretical advantage.

  • The MongolZ eliminated Team Spirit from the groups, and they were in the top 4 in Cluj-Napoca.

  • Aurora Gaming were in the grand final at EPL S23. They won over The MongolZ in the online stage of that event.

Whoever wins this quarterfinal, Vitality players are the favorites in this matchup. They defeated Aurora Gaming with a 2:0 in the group stage at IEM Krakow. The same result was for Vitality in the semifinal at PGL Cluj-Napoca, including a dominant 13:3 on Dust II.

Revenge brackets

NAVI have earned themselves a nice semifinal spot, but we still remember their shaky start to the year. Each of the three teams can succeed in this side of the bracket.

  • Falcons are still on their mission to win a big tournament. They were really close at BLAST Bounty Winter 2026, but PARIVISION destroyed Falcons in the grand final. The quarterfinal in Rotterdam is Falcons’ chance for revenge.

  • PARIVISION won Bounty Winter, and they played in the grand final in Cluj-Napoca against Team Vitality. These successes are mixed with disappointing results. If PARIVISION still reach the grand final, they can have revenge on Vitality.

  • NAVI are the winners at EPL Season 23. During the BLAST Open Spring 2026 group stage, NAVI confidently defeated Team Falcons, and a rerun of this match is quite possible.

After this tournament, the top-level CS2 competition takes a little break. The next big event is Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2026, from April 13 to April 19.

However, quite a few mid-tier teams participate in PGL Bucharest 2026, from April 3 to April 11. The tight schedule can be the main reason for the top team to skip this tournament.
