It’s that time again! Whenever a new season starts, gamers are already waiting the next one. So when is Warzone 2 Season 3?

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Season 2 is still pretty new but players are already looking forward to Season 3 — as gamers do. While Activision has not announced an official start date, it's luckily easy to predict when it may arrive.

Season 2 was huge for Warzone 2, bringing an entirely new map in Ashika Island, a new DMZ faction (along with faction challenges), and new weapons. While there's a lot of new content to experience, Call of Duty players are already curious about Season 3 and what it will bring.

When is Warzone 2 Season 3?

Season 2 started on February 15 and runs for 55 days. This is something players can track by checking out the Battle Pass timer in-game. This timeline means that Season 2 ends April 10.

If we follow the usual timeline for Warzone seasons, this means Season 3 will begin on April 12.

What's coming in Warzone 2 Season 3?

As always, a new season means a new Battle Pass with new rewards. But that's not all.

It has been confirmed that Warzone 2 is getting Ranked mode and Plunder mode in Season 3, according to Season 2 patch notes. Ranked is obviously an exciting update for competitive players. Plunder is also big news — it's a fan-favorite that players are happy to see returning.

Plunder was in the original Warzone, bringing a new element to the battle royale mode by having players kill enemies for cash. Players could also complete contracts and find loot to add to their pile of cash. The first team to reach a certain amount of moolah wins. Many Call of Duty players enjoyed this fun game mode and are excited to see it return.

Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 update

It's not only Warzone 2 that's getting some additional game modes. Modern Warfare 2 is also seeing a popular game mode returning, Gun Fight. This mode originated in Modern Warfare 2019 and then returned in Black Ops Cold War, and is now coming back once again.

Modern Warfare 2 will also get some new maps for 2v2 and 3v3 matches.

With so much more time on Season 2, there is not much else released about Season 3 just yet. But developers will most likely share more details in the coming weeks.
