Kevin Durant is coming to… Call of Duty?
Basketball superstar Kevin Durant is coming to Call of Duty MW2, Warzone 2 and DMZ as an operator skin this month.
His introduction is the latest in a long line of collaborations with real-life celebrities and sportspeople including them in the game.

Call of Duty accidentally leaked the KD skin themselves
Call of Duty hasn't officially announced that KD is coming to MW2 yet but they accidentally leaked it on their Facebook page. They have begun the campaign for Durant's skin by teasing him on social media.
The official Call of Duty account uploaded an image with the caption "KD_Teaser_4x5x3.mp4" to their Facebook. The post was quickly changed to say "Get ready to get dunked on".
Call of Duty's Twitter account posted a video confirming that the skin was coming as a new operator.
The announcement featured the words "Easy Money Sniper" featured on the wall of one of the buildings pictured in Al Mazrah.

Fans quickly put the pieces together and figured out that the leak is for KD. His Instagram handle is EasyMoneySniper.
Some fans wondered whether it was actually NBA icon LeBron James who was coming to the game. The Instagram handle included in the post was enough to put a stop to those thoughts.
Durant is currently in the middle of an NBA playoff series against the Denver Nuggets. Durant's Pheonix Suns trail 2-0 in the series at the time of writing. Durant has played well in both losses. There can be no accusations that he's tanking in order to be ready for his skin to drop.
Call of Duty has not confirmed when the Kevin Durant skin will be released to the public. Nor have they given us a full look at it yet. Durant's skin will be the latest in a run of collabs with sportspeople and celebrities in Call of Duty.
Other collaborations this year
Call of Duty put a huge focus on collabs during the World Cup just after the game's release. Infinity Ward brought with it a number of famous
Paris Saint-Germain's Lionel Messi and Neymar both made appearances in-game. Juventus' French midfielder Paul Pogba had one too.
The World Cup had daily challenges which encouraged players to predict the winners of certain matches in-game. That won't be the case with the KD skin but it was still an interesting quirk of Call of Duty's World Cup content.
Celebrities are also regularly featured with Call of Duty collaborations. Snoop Dogg and Sylvester Stallone have had ones in the past two years. Snoop Dogg has been a big ambassador for Call of Duty in recent years. He is often celebrated on or around the date April 20.
Call of Duty seems set for some other collaborations to join Kevin Durant during the backend of Season 3 in MW2. Other famous faces could be making an appearance, including big streamers. TimTheTatMan is one who is rumoured to be coming to the game soon according to Twitter leaks.
