A Call of Duty x Gundam collaboration has been confirmed, with a release date of sometime during MW3 and Warzone Season 4.
Call of Duty Season 4 is set to arrive on May 29 for both Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. Over the last several years, in-season content has included a ton of collaborations, much like you'd see in Fortnite. Well, the next one coming in Season 4 is a Call of Duty x Gundam crossover.
What is Gundam?
Gundam is an iconic Japanese sci-fi franchise. It has been around since the late 1970s with Mobile Suit Gundam, showcasing militaristic warfare with the use of downright awesome giant mechs and interesting characters who pilot them.
Since its inception, there have been hundreds upon hundreds of television episodes across many different series. There have been movies, manga, novels, and video games. Gundam is a 50-billion yen annual business in Japan, which is equal to over $321 million.

When Gundam arrives in Call of Duty, you should expect some mechanical chaos. We don't know too much out of the gate, but we do know that the collaboration is coming with Season 4, which begins at the end of May 2024.
From the teaser shared on the Call of Duty X account, a shadow of a Gundam appears on the side of a building that is clearly in Japan. This has many hoping it is like the Godzilla x Kong crossover that drastically changed the Warzone battle royale.
The one confirmation we do have is in regards to the Tracer Packs. There are three Gundam mechs you can obtain as Operator Skins as part of the crossover. These all come with their own accessories and should be a huge hit with players.
