Methodz and TJHaly headline the Boston Breach roster as we approach the start of the CDL Season.
The Call of Duty League finally has it's twelfth team as newcomers Boston Breach officially revealed their roster for the upcoming season. Here is a quick rundown on the recently announced roster.
Methodz and TJHaly Lead The Line For Boston
The Boston Breach roster is as follows:
- Anthony "Methodz" Zinni
- Thomas "TJHaly" Haly
- Dylan "Nero" Koch
- "Capsidal"
This roster features a mixture of fresh faces and seasoned pros. Methodz had a hot start last season with Toronto Ultra, but was benched after the first two stages following the arrival of high-flying rookie AR player Insight. Since then he has been bouncing around Challengers as he continued to work his way back onto a CDL team. He has also been a regular guest on the popular podcast "The Flank."

Lining up alongside him is another CoD veteran in TJHaly. Known for his prowess in Search & Destroy,
TJHaly had a bit of a rough season last year as he failed to hold down a spot on LA Thieves; as was the case for a number of players on the ill-fated Thieves roster. Both he and Zinni will no doubt have a point to prove as the start of the season approaches.
Nero will be making his debut in the CDL with Boston Breach (Twitter). He was most notably a member of the LA Guerrillas Academy team during the Cold War season. He also briefly played for WestR in Challengers before signing with Breach. Capsidal is the other CDL debutant within this team. Though he is a relative unknown within the CoD community, he has been competing in Challengers for the last couple of years.
Former CDL players Zach "Zed" Denyer and Denholm "Denz" Taylor make up the backroom staff for Boston Breach as the Head Coach and General Manager for the team respectively.
With a variety of youth and experience, Boston Breach will be hoping that they can get their seasons off to a good start as we approach the Kickoff Classic.
The Kickoff Classic will be held in the 100,000 square ft Esports Stadium Arlington, which is now under the management of Envy Gaming until 2030. The event runs from January 21st to 23rd.
With the calibre of rosters that the other 11 teams are set to be fielding this season, only time will tell how capable this team is of causing a few upsets.
