GRID will now be the official data oracle for Sportstensor and Polymarket, backing their esports betting lines with official data.
Data platform GRID is teaming up with Polymarket's liquidity provider and official market maker, Sportstensor. GRID will support their esports prediction markets using their live and official match data, thanks to their partnerships with major esports publishers.
GRID and Sportstensor
The partnership between GRID and Sportstensor was announced on November 7, 2025. This agreement names GRID as the "official esports data oracle" for Sportstensor and Polymarket. GRID's live, rights-compliant data for many top esports titles, including Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, League of Legends, and VALORANT, will now be delivered to Polymarket through this agreement.
Data oracles not only transmit real-world information, such as match results and data, but also include contracts based on the blockchain. This information is then used to support the outcome of each prediction market.
"Prediction markets are emerging as one of the fastest-growing frontiers for digital engagement," said Dominika Szot, VP of Growth at GRID. "Esports, a sport digital by nature, is a natural fit within that ecosystem. Integrity in settlement is critical, and official data provides the foundation to ensure predictions remain fair, transparent, and tamper-proof while adding new dimensions of entertainment value."
"Prediction markets depend on trust, not just between traders, but in the accuracy of outcomes that underpin every contract," Leo Chan, Co-founder & CEO of Sportstensor. "Partnering with GRID ensures our esports markets are settled using verified, rights-compliant data straight from the source. That allows us to design richer and more engaging markets for Polymarket users, uniquely enabled by official data."
