BLAST Titans will include the first large-scale event for Apex Legends Arenas, and Razer has been unveiled as a partner of the $46,000 event!
As we reported on July 21st, Tournament organizer BLAST is making its first adventure into Apex Legends after announcing BLAST Titans. BLAST Titans will be a $46,000 event featuring 40 European teams, almost all of which were participants in the ALGS EU Championship. Earlier today, BLAST proudly announced that the leading global lifestyle brand for gamers, Razer, will be sponsoring the event.
"Razer is a well recognized brand in the esports and gaming space - it’s great to have their backing and support ahead of our first ever BLAST Titans event this week. Apex Legends has a large and passionate community of gamers, one we look forward to engaging with through a variety of exciting digital activations involving Razer," said Oliver Clarke, Head of Brand Partnerships at BLAST.
The BLAST TITANS / Razer partnership will see Razer integrated into the event in the form of "product giveaways, player-led content opportunities, in-game branding and activation of the match and tournament MVP broadcast segment".
BLAST's involvement in the Apex Legends space is extremely exciting given their success in other titles. The Blast Titans will be a good test run for the viability of a competitive 3vs3 Arena scene, with Ranked Arenas are set to arrive as part of Apex Legends Season 10. EA have also tried to push Arenas with the recent Thrillseekers event.
