The best loadout for the TAC-50 in XDefiant lets you sit back, pop off some shots, and enjoy a massive K/D in the process.

The TAC-50 is a slower sniper rifle in XDefiant, but using its best loadout makes it one of the most powerful weapons in the game. You'll be able to one-shot anybody from the body or higher with the setup we have.

Let's take a look at the attachments necessary, the Factions to use, and more.

The TAC-50 is a nasty weapon right out of the box. You don't have to do much to make it a monstrous sniper rifle.

In fact, a lot of players are using a simple loadout for it in XDefiant, where you only have to reach about level 14.

Attachments

You'll notice only six attachment categories, unlike seven for most weapons in XDefiant. You still only get to add five, but really it is more like four, as an Optic is required for sniper rifles. Go for these attachments with that in mind:

  • Barrel: Chrome Lined
  • Optics: Sniper Scope
  • Magazine: Quick Mag
  • Rear Grip: Heavy Grip
  • Stock: Padded

The default Sniper Scope works great, but it automatically reduces mobility by a lot. You won't be doing montage-worthy quickscopes with it. That doesn't mean this TAC-50 loadout can't string together consecutive kills.

You get massive firepower for guaranteed kills, great accuracy that reduces weapon sway, and quicker reloads so you can get back to shooting faster. This is the sniper rifle loadout in XDefiant if you want to increase your K/D.

The 686 Magnum is the secondary weapon you should go with for this best TAC-50 loadout in XDefiant. Pair firepower with firepower.

If you get pushed, you've got options with the Magnum. You can try to get a quickscope in, and if you hit a leg, finish it off with the powerful pistol. Or you can pull it straight out, hit a few shots for a kill, and get back to sniping.

If you are sniping with this TAC-50 loadout in XDefiant, don't expect your team to watch your back. They'll be busy playing the objective.

Place down a Proximity Mine to take care of that for you. Not only can it get you a kill if it catches a flanking opponent off guard, it can also simply alert you of that flank when it sets off.

Sniping is an incredibly useful way to get kills in XDefiant. It is pretty overpowered, honestly. Therefore, matching this loadout with the right Faction is a great way to stomp out the enemy team:

  • DedSec: The hacking Faction is a great choice. You can throw out a Spider Bot to mess with the enemy team while you hold your position. Your Ultra can disrupt anyone that pushes too close. And the Passive Ability means you have infinite Proximity Mines.
  • Echelon: Staying off the minimap is a great Passive for a stealthy sniper loadout. As well, you've got the camo to take a shot without being seen. Then you have the Intel Suit to see if anyone is coming up behind you as you camp.
  • Phantoms: Phantoms have extra health in XDefiant. Use that to your advantage to aggressively peek enemies. You also have the Mag Barrier which blocks enemy bullets. Place that down right when you set up for an added defensive setup.

With this TAC-50 loadout in XDefiant, you won't light up the scoreboard, but you'll definitely end a match with a high kill/death ratio and can clear out objective points from afar.
