If you want a powerful assault rifle to use in XDefiant, look no further than the AK-47 and the best loadout we have to offer for it.

The AK-47 is a ruthless assault rifle that has spanned generations of first-person shooters. So, of course, it has made a name for itself in Ubisoft's newest FPS. In XDefiant, the AK-47 has proven to be a nightmare for opposing players, and we've got the best loadout for you to make it happen.

We've got you covered with everything from attachments and a secondary weapon to the Device you should use and what Factions work well.

A handful of popular creators use a loadout similar to this one. We've put it to the test, did some tweaking, and have to say that there's no need for an Optic on it.

It has perhaps the best ironsights in the game. So, let's start first with the attachments necessary to make this the best AK-47 loadout you'll find in XDefiant.

The game only allows five attachments for each weapon. You'll see there are seven categories, so you've got to be a bit picky. For this loadout, you don't need to do too much leveling. A couple matches during double XP will do the trick to get the gun to level 11, and you'll unlock everything you need.

  • Barrel: Recon
  • Front Rail: Superlight
  • Magazine: Quick Mag
  • Rear Grip: Heavy Grip
  • Stock: Padded

The AK-47 already packs quite a punch in XDefiant, so it's best loadout doesn't need any help in that department. Instead, you'll focus on the other three statistical areas.

Mobility, accuracy, and its ammo all receive a nice boost. This allows you to line up your shots from any range, have enough ammo to stay alive through multiple gunfights, and even get shots off quick up against some lighter weapons.

Secondary weapon

We recommended the basic M9 pistol for your secondary weapon. You're going to spend most of your time with your AK-47 in your hands, but tack on this sidearm for its best loadout.

It will allow to swap out and reach objectives quicker, and can finish off a kill or two if you have no time to reload. Any attachments work, but we suggest a simple setup of the light suppressor and heavy grip. It has nice accuracy and fun pew pew sound when firing away.

Device

Go with the EMP Grenade as the Device for this AK-47 loadout in XDefiant. As the game reaches a certain meta, equipment and abilities have become necessary to gain victory. The EMP Grenade will stop those.

If you're pushing an objective and a Phantom player puts up a shield, toss the EMP Grenade to shut it down and unload on the opposition with your AK-47. Plus, you get bonus XP for disabling Devices and negating abilities.

Best Factions to use with this XDefiant AK-47 loadout

It is important to pair the best AK-47 loadout with the best Factions in XDefiant. Here are three that work well together:

  • Cleaners: The Incinerator Drone is always a great option to clear areas out before you move in. Otherwise, the focus here is on the Incendiary Rounds Passive Trait. The AK-47 is already a brutal firearm, but adding that extra extended burn damage makes it even more dangerous.
  • Libertad: Remember the Quick Mag attachment? Reload speed and magazine size are buffed, and that's why Libertad works. You have heals upon heals upon heals. That will keep you in the fight, allowing you to spray away with your AK to your heart's content.
  • Phantoms: The Phantoms Faction is quickly becoming the best in XDefiant. All because it has boosted health and deployable shields. Jump right into the fray, drop a shield, and mow down everybody with the Ak-47. It is that simple.

Piece together this AK-47 loadout in XDefiant and thank us later.
