Bunny is a lively and popular character in The First Descendant, so let’s walk you through how to unlock her.

Bunny is one of the first characters you meet in The First Descendant, but you still have to unlock her to play as her. She's not available right away. Thankfully, it isn't a tricky quest to obtain her. You just need to follow the main story.

You'll have to pay attention to the items you collect in order to unlock her. It doesn't take you on a wild side mission, though.

Some spoilers are ahead.

Bunny is integral to the opening mission. You pick your own Descendant and accompany her on a mission to get an Ironheart. This gives you a glimpse at what Bunny is capable of, but the mission doesn't quite end well for the two of you.

Soon after, you'll receive your first story missions. After just a couple, you can tackle the Bunny Research Quest. Complete this to unlock Bunny in The First Descendant. And to do that, follow these steps:

  1. Reach The Fallen theater and talk to Bunny
  2. Obtain the Bunny Research mission
  3. Acquire Bunny Enhanced Cells from the Vulgus Field Generator mission in Kingston
  4. Acquire Bunny Stabilizer from the Magister Lab mission in Kingston
  5. Acquire Bunny Spiral Catalyst from the Vulgus Data Transmitter mission in Kingston
  6. Acquire Amorphous Material Pattern: Bunny from the Slumber Valley mission in Kingston
  7. Defeat Grave Walker
  8. Go to Anais and Research Bunny
  9. Give up the materials, spend 400,000 gold, and wait 60 seconds to unlock Bunny in The First Descendant
You can spend 1 Caliber to complete Anais' Research Request for Bunny instantly

There are other story missions you need to complete in between some of the above objectives, to unlock the areas where some of the materials are located. It only takes about two hours or so of game time if you really lock in, though, so don't worry.

All of the missions are marked on your map, and you don't even have to search for the Bunny Research items. When the missions associated with each item are complete, the item is given to you. Then you craft the character, and that's how you unlock Bunny in The First Descendant.
