Power up and collect thousands of candies for this dragon-smashing Pokémon!
After the conclusion of Scorbunny March Community Day, Pokémon GO is about to release another promising Community Day event for April 2026 by featuring Tinkatink, the base form of the PvP-friendly Hammer Pokémon, Tinkaton.
Coincidentally, April was also the month Tinkatink made its debut in Pokémon GO last year. Since it could only be obtained by hatching Eggs, many players found it difficult to gather enough Tinkatink Candy to evolve it into Tinkatuff and eventually Tinkaton.
Due to its type combination and good Defense stat, Tinkaton is an excellent PvP combatant that can take the bulky role. It is only weak to Fire- and Ground-type moves and is resistant to a whopping 11 move types, especially Dragon.
Despite the presence of bulkier Steel-type options, Tinkaton remains a viable pick for many PvP teams. In fact, Tinkaton was even part of the lineup used by Beelzeboy, the first Indian Pokémon GO player to win the 2025 Pokémon GO World Championship in California.
Whether you already have a Tinkaton with excellent IVs or you are hoping to hunt a hundo or a Shiny Tinkatink, April 2026 Community Day will likely be the best opportunity to gather the resources needed to build one for battles.

Shiny Tinkatink, Shiny Tinkatuff, and Shiny Tinkaton
Community Days are known to have boosted Shiny odds, so the table below shows what a Shiny Tinkatink, Shiny Tinkatuff, and Tinkaton would look like:

What is Tinkatink’s Hundo CP in Pokémon GO?
The Hundo CP for a Community Day Pokémon is only identifiable if you catch it as a reward from a Research Task. For a Tinkatink that is captured this way, a Hundo will have 368 CP.
Best tips and practices during Community Day
When joining an event like the April 2026 Tinkatink Community Day, it’s very important that you at least buy the Community Day Special Research to make the most out of it.
Once the event starts, try to be as mobile as possible, making your way to multiple PokéStops and Gyms. Try to spin every Photo Disc that you find, as it will give you more resources like berries and new field research tasks.
Also, don’t forget to Mega Evolve a Pokémon that shares any of Tinkatink’s types. As a Fairy and Steel type, here are the Pokémon that you can mega evolve, which further increases that Candies you earn from catching lots of Tinkatink:
Some local Pokémon GO communities even hold catching contests, which are especially popular during Community Days. Being the first to catch a Hundo or Shundo in your area or finding the heaviest Tinkatink among all participants, can sometimes earn you prizes such as code cards, pins, or other Pokémon GO merchandise.
If you want to find a local Pokémon GO community near you, you can use the Campfire mobile app to look for nearby meetups and events.
