If you got stuck with the generic game-generated username in Star Wars: Hunters, luckily you can change it.

Many players rush right through the account setup process in gaming. That often leaves them with generic in-game names. If you did that in Star Wars: Hunters, just know that you can change your username at a later time.

Let's go over how to change your username, so you aren't stuck being JediGuy5555555.

Star Wars: Hunters has unique usernames, so no one can have yours, and you can't have theirs. That means if you just breeze by the name input phase of registration, you could be out of luck.

If you still want to change your username in Star Wars: Hunters, though, follow these steps to do so:

  1. Tap your Avatar in the top left corner
  2. Tap on your username to open your profile page
  3. Select the Pencil icon next to your current username and level
  4. Type in your newly desired username
    • Try and try again until you pick one that is available
  5. Hit accept to successfully change your username in Star Wars: Hunters

That's all there is to it, as your new username will now appear to yourself and everyone else. You'll see it immediately at the top of your profile page and on the scoreboard of any match you play from then on out.

And as a side note, if you are a Nintendo Switch player, you can follow the same steps above. The only difference is that you'll need to use your directional pad or joystick to move around the screen. Then you'll press the A button to select everything, rather than tapping like you would on mobile.

There is no numeric limit to how many times you can change your username. There is a time period wait, however.

You can only change it every seven days. So, if you think of something way cooler than the one you just updated it to, give it a week and you can make the change again.

Does it cost?

With their being a week-long cooldown, it is a valid question on if it costs in-game currency or even premium Crystals.

You'll be happy to hear that it most certainly does not. Changing your username in Star Wars: Hunters is absolutely free.
