If you want to stand a chance against the mighty pirates of the Indian Ocean in Skull and Bones, the Dardanelles Gun is a must have.

There are two ways to get the Dardenelles Gun. You can:

  • Purchase it from the Black Market for 350 Sovereigns
  • Dig up a Legendary Treasure during a Cutthroat Cargo Hunt PvP event

The Black Market is accessed through Yanita in Sainte-Anne or her sister Houma in Telok Penjarah. You'll need to unlock the ability to control manufactories and collect Pieces of Eight by completing the main story missions and reaching the Kingpin Infamy.

Sovereigns are an additional currency provided to you by climbing the leaderboard. Obtain Pieces of Eight to move up the various tiers of the weekly and seasonal leaderboard. Collect enough Sovereigns and you can purchase the Dardanelles Gun.

As for the Cutthroat Cargo Hunt PvP event, it randomly appears on your map after you reach Kingpin. When it does, you can opt in to PvP battles. A timer will countdown for a treasure map to appear in the ocean, and whoever is the first to travel there and pick it up is shown the outpost where the treasure resides.

Anyone else that opts in can see you on their map, and vice versa, with a goal of hunting you down, sinking you, and taking the treasure map for themselves. Make it to the outpost and dock there, or survive combat long enough in the zone to be automatically docked and win the event.

Read the treasure map when you're on land to see the landmark where it is buried. Search the area for that landmark and dig up the treasure. You'll receive many resources and commodities, a ton of Silver, and oftentimes a rare weapon. Which may include the Dardanelles Gun, as it is a random roll.

Here are all of its stats and perks when placed there, sure to push your ship's rating to level 12:

  • Ammunition: Bombard Bombs
  • Damage: 3997
  • Reload: 6.80 s
  • Range: 550 m
  • Gun Ports: 4
  • Fire Rate: 6.80
  • Unison: Allows all weapons in the same quadrant to fire simultaneously
  • Explosive III: Adds 30% of damage as Explosive Damage in a 40m Blast Radius
  • Damage Per Shot: 3075
    • Explosive: +922
  • Weakpoint Damage: 150%
  • Blast Radius: 40 m
  • Projectile Speed: 155 m/s
  • Ship Size: All sizes

It works very well on any ship. Two Dardanelles Guns in Skull and Bones are even better. Firing it sends all four shots at once, and if they all connect, you're looking at a massive chunk of damage dealt.

The only downside is the reload time, so make sure you're in a position to maneuver to the other side, or the bow or stern weapons.

Pair it with the Megaphone Major Furniture for every consecutive hit to decrease reload time by .5% up to a maximum of 15%. Then choose Bombard Grinder I to increase its projectile speed by 15% and Bombard Works I for an elemental damage multiplier of 19%. It'll be nearly unstoppable.
