Granite is a common resource in LEGO Fortnite. You can find it in abundance, no matter the biome. While some Granite spawns in small batches, you can harvest rocks using a pickaxe. Once you create a Pickaxe using a Crafting Table with Wooden Rods, you can break down Granite rocks and add the resource to your inventory.

After harvesting enough Granite, you can proceed through the remaining steps to create Granite Slabs. You must create a Stone Breaker using Knotroot and Marble to do that. Then, the last step is to turn your LEGO Fortnite Granite into Slabs.

Here is a step-by-step guide with screenshots:

  1. Gather Granite from the ground or harvest large rocks with a Pickaxe

What can you do with Granite Slabs?

Granite Slabs serve many purposes in LEGO Fortnite. However, the most important is the ability to upgrade your Village Square. Upgrading your Village Square allows you to invite more non-player characters (NPCs) to join your LEGO Fortnite adventure.

Overall, Granite Slabs are worth creating since you cannot advance past a certain point without crafting them. Your best bet is to make plenty and store them in a Chest to revisit when needed.
