Arm yourself with Chewbacca’s favorite weapon!
Chewbacca has arrived in Fortnite via the latest Star Wars collaboration event. You can unlock Chewie's Fortnite skin by purchasing the LEGO Fortnite Star Wars Battle Pass, and you can also find him in-game as a non-player character (NPC). But that's not all. Chewbacca brought his signature Bowcaster weapon along for this Fortnite. This guide explains how to get this new Star Wars weapon.
How to get the Mythic Wookiee Bowcaster in Fortnite
You can find the Mythic Wookiee Bowcaster in Imperial Chests. These Chests appear at various Imperial Blockades around the map and at Darth Vader's spawn location.
The Imperial Blockades contain at least one Imperial Chest, and after opening one, you should see a Wookiee Bowcaster emerge. Below, we have provided an image of the Imperial Blockade's appearance while gliding since you cannot find it marked on your map.

How does the Bowcaster work? Is it any good?
This is a Mythic weapon, much better than the E-11 Blaster, and worth carrying if you can find one. You can utilize the Wookiee Bowcaster's charge shot to deal damage or just tap-fire it. No matter which option you choose, it is a decent weapon. We even used it to eliminate Darth Vader.

- Fire Rate: 2
- Magazine Size: Unlimited
- Reload Time: 3 seconds (charge cooldown)
