Send or copy your favorite loadouts with the push of a button in Black Ops 7.
One of the brand new features that Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has added to multiplayer is Loadout Build Codes. These allow you to directly input a loadout's exact set of attachments on your own gun, making it so you don't have to listen to a friend tell you their attachments for a weapon one by one.
However, even with Loadout Codes in multiplayer, it can be a bit confusing to use them in Black Ops 7. For a full walkthrough on how to send and input Loadout Codes, take a look at the guide below.
How to use Loadout Codes in Black Ops 7
For starters, every time you create a loadout in Black Ops 7, you'll see a blue code appear above the optic slot in a weapon's gunsmith menu. This code is specific to that weapon and whatever attachments you have currently equipped on it. Every time you add a new attachment, the code will change to reflect that.

While you can always tell your friend the code directly, how do they input that into their loadouts menu? Also, can you just send the Loadout Code to a friend so you don't have to repeat a bunch of random letters and numbers? Find out all of that in the steps below:
- When you view a weapon's loadout in the gunsmith, look at the blue-highlighted Build Code in the bottom-left corner of the screen
- If you're on PC, you can copy that exact code by pressing the "square/plus" icon to the right of the Build Code
- If you're on console, there's currently no way to copy that code, from what we can tell
- Once you have that Build Code copied, you can then choose to send that to a friend over some kind of messaging service (Discord, email, text message, etc.)
- However, if you got sent a Build Code but don't want to enter all of the numbers and letters, all you have to do is press the six dots icon in the upper-right corner of the Black Ops 7 menu
- Here, select the "Import Weapon Build" box, and a text box will appear
- Copy your Build Code into the text box, press "Import," and that loadout will be copied into your gunsmith

It's important to remember that for a Loadout Code to work successfully, you need to have the weapon and all of the attachments from the code unlocked. If you don't, then the loadout won't be the same as the one from the code.
