New Trailblaze mission
As the game’s story continues, the main protagonist gets a new mission. It is called “Then Wake to Weep”, and it’s connected to a music festival.
New characters in Honkai: Star Rail 2.2
The information on two 5-star characters leaked a while ago. Now it was officially confirmed.
Robin
She is a 5-star Physical character who follows the path of Harmony.
Robin kit includes:
- Basic Attack: Wingflip White Noise — Physical DMG to one opponent; it’s equal to 50% of Robin's attack.
- Skill: Pinion’s Aura — increases allies' DMG by 25% for three turns.
- Ultimate: Vox Harmonique, Opus Cosmique — in the Concerto state, Robin increases ATK of all allies by 15.2% and gets +50 to her own; she makes all allies take action immediately. After allies attack, Robin deals additional Physical DMG (72% of her ATK).
- Talent: Tonal Resonance — allies get increased Crit Damage, by 5%.
- Technique: Overture of Inebriation — Robin creates an area around herself, where opponents cannot attack. The area remains active for 15 seconds.
Boothill
He is a 5-Star Physical character who follows The Hunt path.
Boothill kit includes:
- Basic Attack: Skullcrush Spurs — Physical DMG to one opponent; it’s equal to 50% of Boothill’s ATK.
- Enhanced Basic Attack: Fanning the Hammer — Physical DMG to one opponent; it’s equal to 100% of Boothill’s ATK. It’s impossible to recover Skill Points with this attack, and it targets opponents with Standoff.
- Skill: Sizzlin' Tango — puts an opponent to the Standoff state; the Basic Attack becomes Enhanced. The opponent is taunted. They and Boothill receive 15% more damage from others.
- Ultimate: Dust Devil's Sunset Rodeo — Physical weakness to an opponent; Physical DMG, equal 240% Boothill’s ATK; 30% action delay for the opponent.
- Talent: Five Peas in a Pod — Enhanced Basic Attack gets increased Toughness-Reducing DMG by 50% with each Trickshot; it can be stacked up to three times.
- Technique: 3-9x Smile — when Boothill uses his Skill against an opponent for the first time in a battle, they get Physical Weakness for two turns.
Robin’s new album
Robin is an inspiring singer, and she is going to release her new album, “Inside”. It will be available on May 9 — with three new songs and a mysterious track that will be unlocked in Version 2.3.
New boss
A new danger awaits for heroes in Honkai: Star Rail 2.2. It’s a powerful creature, The Great Septimus, who also participates in the musical festival.

Boundless Choreo is a new New 4-star Light Cone in Honkai: Star Rail.

The game will feature a few interesting events.
- Clockie: Dreamjoy Memoir — players will participate in anime film production.
- The Legend of Galactic Baseballer — battles with powerful enemies across the universe.
- All About Boothill — an opportunity to make some cash thanks to the high reward for Boothill, an interstellar cowboy.
The game gets some quality-of-life improvements, aimed at social interactions and more convenient team management. Also, the developers revealed the digital book “The Ultimate Trailblazer’s Guide to Penacony”.
