Details regarding Call of Duty's new anti-cheat system are, at long last, set to be revealed on October 13. This news comes to us in the form of a very detailed message which was posted to the Call of Duty Twitter page earlier today. Here is what we know so far.
Call of Duty Post Threatening Message To Cheaters on Their Twitter Page
It has been known for some time now that the developers behind the popular FPS franchise have been attempting to resolve the ongoing cheating problem present in both Warzone and their main titles. Raven Software, the development team in charge of maintaining all aspects of Warzone, had initially hinted that a new anti-cheat system was being developed back in August.
Many CoD fans have been anxiously awaiting any news regarding the anti-cheat system since then, but there had been no new information for over two months. Now though, it would seem that the Call of Duty developers are finally ready to shed some light on a system that really should have been put in place a long time ago.
In a tweet that was recently posted to their Twitter page, Call of Duty made their thoughts regarding the onslaught of cheaters present in their games known to everyone. While this should come as no surprise that the developers are as fed up with this problem as their community is, this not-so-cryptic message is both a surprising, yet refreshing turn of events.
While not much else has been posted apart from this tweet, we should expect to see this new anti-cheat system roll out to all current-generation Call of Duty titles, including Warzone, around November, when Call of Duty: Vanguard is officially released.
