Will any of these teams be your dynasty pick in College Football 25?

One of the most exciting aspects of the upcoming College Football 25 game is the opportunity for players to rebuild teams in the game's iconic Dynasty mode. But, with loads of teams to choose from, picking the perfect school can be a challenging endeavor for any player. Lucky for you, we've got 10 great choices for rebuilds from across college football right here.

#10: Oklahoma State

Oklahoma State is probably the best team on this list thanks to star running back Ollie Gordon, who even has some potential to win the Heisman Trophy in 2024 if the Cowboys continue to feed him the ball. After only dropping four games in 2023, this isn't going to be your prototypical rebuild like some others on this list, but the Cowboys provide some fun opportunities for players looking for a slightly different dynasty experience.

You get to play in the new Big 12 without OU and Texas, you get to try and recruit a star QB to replace Senior Alan Bowman (unless you think Gunnar Gundy is the future), and you'd have a real shot at national success within 1 to 3 years. OSU has always been right on the cusp of greatness, and with Big Brother OU out of the picture, the Cowboys could be a great Dynasty team in College Football 25.

#9: Arizona State

The Sun Devils of Arizona State are on the opposite side of the spectrum as a team like OSU, only winning three games in 2023 with a slew of issues on both sides of the ball. And now, they find themselves in the Big 12, with an even more brutal schedule in 2024.

So, if you want a more long-term and "fresh start" approach to the new Big 12, this could be a great Dynasty mode choice. With the school's (we'll call it fun-loving) reputation, maybe you can have some success in the transfer portal and bring back winning football to Arizona State.

#8: Coastal Carolina

Coastal Carolina is another team that has some real assets coming into the 2024 season and some of the most depth at QB of any team we've seen. For the Chanticleers, the real rebuild would need to come on the defensive side of the ball, an area that has held this team back from real greatness in the past two years.

This could easily be a team that wins 8 to 10 games in 2024 without much help thanks to their favorable Sun Belt schedule, but one that could go undefeated in the proper hands. Then, things like conference realignment, higher star recruits, and the transfer portal could come into play. If a non-power-five is your cup of tea, consider Coastal Carolina as one of your Dynasty teams in College Football 25.

#7: Colorado

Even though Deion Sanders won't be a part of the Buffs in College Football 25 thanks to coaches not having their likeness in the game, Colorado would still be a blast to continue rebuilding in Dynasty mode for all the reasons you'd expect. You have star power, transfer portal potential, and plenty of tough games in 2024 in the Big 12.

Honestly, this one would be the most fun simply to compare your direction of the team in-game versus the real thing. Basically, can you outdo Deion?

#6: Nebraska

Big Red has not had the run they would have liked in previous years, finishing 8th in the Big 10 in 2023 on only five wins. And, in 2024, they'll have to go to Ohio State, USC, and Iowa, with home games against Colorado, UCLA, and Wisconsin. This would make for an incredibly challenging first-year experience, especially thanks to the new effects of crowd noise in CFB25.

But, Nebraska is one of college football's all-time great and historic programs, so why not do your best to lead them back to the glory days?

#5: Boise State

There is a reason the blue turf was the opening image in the College Football 25 reveal trailer, as it's one of college football's most distinct features. The Broncos are also not in a terrible spot, all things considered, coming into 2024 with a well-balanced roster and a huge Week 2 game at Oregon.

Boise State is a team, much like OSU, that has been good, but not great, in past years. Your challenge with this team is to return them to their 2007-era greatness in College Football 25.

#4: Wake Forest

If you are looking to start from the bottom and fully embrace the zero-to-hero mindset, let us introduce you to the Demon Deacons. After a 3-0 start in 2023, this team proceeded to go 1-8 with some blowout losses to teams like Notre Dame and Florida State. It was a rough year to be a Wake Forest fan.

However, 2024 can be a true turnaround year for this program thanks to a bit of an easier schedule and your expertise taking over the program. Between that, some fun tradition, and a promising Junior QB in Mitch Griffis, you have all the makings of an amazing dynasty in College Football 25.

#3: UTEP

UTEP has so much to love going into 2024 in terms of what you are looking for in a Dyasty mode team. They've got a solid QB and WR combo in Cade McConnell and Kelly Akharaiyi, some big games at Nebraska and at Tennessee, and a Conference USA schedule that would be challenging at higher difficulties. They've also got an awesome stadium to boot.

After barely winning the three games they won in 2023, UTEP is ripe for a promising fresh start under new management and is one of the teams we will most likely be rebuilding in our first Dynasty mode rebuild in College Football 25.

#2: Army

Two words: Triple Option. After seeing all of the improvements to the option and the nuance you can play this style with, it's hard not to want to go for an Army rebuild right away. You also get the freedom of being an FBS Independent and get to play iconic games against the likes of Navy, Air Force, and Notre Dame.

Army wasn't bad in 2023 thanks to QB Bryson Daily, who will be back in 2024. You'll have some time left with your current captain of the triple option, then it will be up to you to recruit and bring in your next program leader, which sounds like all the makings of a great Dynasty mode team.

#1: Wyoming

Of all the teams we've gone through, we believe none has more of what you are looking for in an ideal dynasty team than the Wyoming Cowboys. This team had a great 2023 season thanks in large part to QB Andrew Peasley, who is now on the New York Jets. So, right away, this one would feel like a fresh restart with some challenging 2024 games to put your skill to the test.

You also get to play iconic snow games in the highest altitude stadium in college football at War Memorial Stadium and experience some fun college football tradition moments week in and week out. All in all, there's a lot to love about Wyoming, especially if you're someone who loves the brown and yellow jerseys like we do.
