Zenless Zone Zero has plenty of upcoming characters around the corner. Recently, miHoYo introduced two new Agents from the Sons of Calydon faction - Caesar King and Burnice White. But there is another Sons of Calydon Agent that will likely join us in future updates. Let's look at Lighter in Zenless Zone Zero and his character details.
When is Lighter coming out in Zenless Zone Zero?
Lighter is speculated to arrive in Zenless Zone Zero version 1.3 in late October. MiHoYo seems to be releasing characters via faction, so it's only natural to assume that Lighter will join the rest of his Sons of Calydon members very soon.
Caesar King and Burnice White have been introduced in Zenless Zone Zero's drip marketing, but no specific release date was disclosed. These characters will likely take over the next version update, Zenless Zone Zero 1.2. Lighter may arrive in ZZZ with one of these Agents - like how Seth Lowell will be released alongside Jane Doe.
However, there are also reports indicating that Lighter will arrive later in the Zenless Zone Zero 1.3 version update. If so, he will be released in October to November. Although it's likely that Lighter will come around these two version updates, there is no official confirmation so take these release date speculations with a pinch of salt.
Lighter Profile: Rank, skill kit, and more leaks
Lighter first appeared in the pre-release livestream with the Sons of Calydon faction. He then appeared as an NPC (non-playable character) on Sixth Street for a small interaction. Lighter has ruffled green hair, a striking biker jacket, and a red scarf around his neck.
Leaks suggest that ZZZ's Lighter will be an S-Rank Agent with a Fire Attribute. For a while, many people suggested that he would be an A-Rank. However, a recent discovery by a known data miner, donut, unveiled that he is an S-Rank. The 1.1 database deleted his A-Rank weapon status and in 1.2 replaced it with an S-Rank W-Engine.

Lighter might be a melee fighter who performs punch-like attacks to deal massive damage. This aligns with his gauntlets and golden-diamond knuckles. His specialty is speculated to be Attack and his attack style to be Strike.

Skill kit leaks
A user on Reddit, SwagdoIfTheWhite, leaked Lighter's skills. When Lighter normal attacks, you can press the button on the third and fifth hit + move left or right to trigger a series of chain attacks. If you release the button on the second and fifth attack, it will extend the continuous attack duration.
Lighter will also have a special ability to dodge while moving sideways. While dodging and in a state of invulnerability, he can also perform the normal attack combo. Once he reaches a certain ability threshold, he will trigger the "Thunder Attack" ultimate which buffs his normal attacks to become more powerful. You can press the ultimate button once again and perform another powerful attack, dealing insurmountable Fire damage.
Another leak by user CTheng showed frames from Lighter's ultimate animation. It seems like it will be an epic punch transitioned into a black-and-white animation, giving you that high-impact effect. You can see the compiled frames below for a better visualization of Lighter's ultimate.
