Blizzard Entertainment has released an original song for its World of Warcraft Midnight (WoW Midnight) expansion. “A Place to Call Home” is performed by recording artist AURORA and written by Brendon Williams, Laura Intravia, and AURORA as well.

The song has its own music video as well. It features a night elf’s journey from Teldrassil to the Deadmines to the Dark Portal in Outland to Northrend and so on. It even has scenes dedicated to iconic characters such as Illidan Stormrage, the Lich King, and Deathwing before showing the Sword of Sargeras.
Coupled with its lyrics, the scenes in the WoW Midnight music video show how players, both old and new, can reconnect with what “home” means to them, according to Blizzard Entertainment. It also nods to the WoW housing feature in the expansion.
“The track serves as an emotional centerpiece for World of Warcraft: Midnight, capturing themes of belonging, resilience, and the search for home within Azeroth,” Blizzard Entertainment added.
Who is AURORA?
AURORA is a Norwegian art-pop artist who is known for her ethereal voice, visual style, activism, and stage presence. She made her debut in 2015 with “Running With the Wolves” and then released several acclaimed albums such as “All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend” in 2016, Infections of a Different Kind” in 2018, “Different Kind of Human” in 2019, and “The Gods We Can Touch” in 2022.
She has also toured over 50 countries for her latest album called “What Happened to the Heart?”
“A Place to Call Home” is now available on various digital streaming platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, and Tidal.
