Bad Bunny is an icon, but he has yet to join Fortnite’s illustrious Icon Series. Will it ever happen? Here’s what we believe!

Many celebrities have collaborated with Fortnite over the last eight years, from Lady Gaga to Ariana Grande to LeBron James. Those three media titans merely scratch the surface of what Epic Games has accomplished since Fortnite's launch back in 2017. One superstar who has yet to become an in-game skin is the Grammy Award-winning artist Bad Bunny.

Following his record-breaking Super Bowl Halftime performance, many are wondering if and when Bad Bunny's time to get a Fortnite skin is approaching.

Is Bad Bunny's time to get a Fortnite skin approaching?

Bad Bunny transcends the industry he has dominated for the past few years. The 31-year-old Puerto Rican is a prominent figure in pop culture, with millions of streams across multiple music platforms and even in-ring WWE performances.

As a result, the natural question among Fortnite fans is whether he will get an in-game skin. The obvious answer is that it will happen eventually, purely because of his star power. We've seen multiple musicians and artists become Fortnite skins over the past few years, including Icon Series members Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Billie Eilish, and, more recently, Chappell Roan.

Bad Bunny is rapidly ascending to the same level as these names, which is impossible for Epic Games to ignore. While no rumors exist of a Bad Bunny Fortnite skin, he is already in the game. You can purchase and play the following songs in the game's Festival mode:

  • DÁKITI
  • Tití Me Preguntó
  • MIA
  • BAILE INoLVIDABLE

That's usually at least a foot in the door, so to speak. Other artists who had songs or Emotes in the game before a formal collaboration include Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, and Lady Gaga. It's safe to assume Bad Bunny is atop the list of potential Fortnite crossovers, if Epic Games hasn't already secured him.

All Grammy Award winners and Super Bowl performs already in Fortnite

Given Bad Bunny's recent Super Bowl performance and Grammy Award win, it's worth outlining other artists who also fit into those categories.
