Xipto GC came in as the second seed from SEA, alongside Falcons Vega, the first seed, and HYPA HYPA Esports, the region's third.

Now for the caveat. While Xipto are technically the defending champions of the region, and a strong 4th place finish in GC Champs capped off their 2024 season, it's worth noting that they underwent a complete rebuild this year. Kelly "shirazi" Jaudian now plays for Nova Esports GC, competing in the Chinese league.

Meanwhile, the trio of Alexandria "Alexy" Francisco, Odella "enerii" Abraham, and Camille "Kamiyu" Enriquez moved over to Falcons Vega as a unit and were the Stage 2 champs.

On the other hand, Ninetails are the first and only seed from Korea. They have had an incredible run so far, winning 21 series in a row. This was the case until the met Xipto GC in the Upper Bracket Final.

Xipto handed Ninetails their first series loss since April, and a 2-0 at that. This loss sent Ninetails to the Lower Bracket Final, which pitted them against Falcons Vega. The match between Falcons and Ninetails was a five-game spectacle, but Ninetails looked dominant for most of the series. The Korean team commanded the series against the SEA champs with two 13-5 maps to earn themselves a rematch against Xipto.

This match was closer. Both teams were trading blows in the first two maps, with two 13-9 wins going to each team. However, Xipto seemed to shift gears and took over the series from map 3, taking two maps back-to-back. With a 3-1 map scoreline, Xipto Esports GC beat Ninetails to be the VCT 25 Game Changers champions.

Ex-Team Secret member Noel "NDG" De Guia congratulated his sister, PIETY, on their win.

When we [didn't] have [a] computer to play on, my sister and I [used] to play on computer shop for 4-8hrs and grind FPS games. Now she just won VCT GC Pacific. She's the GOAT. Congrats to the team also! <3

Grahams was awarded the finals MVP accolade.
