Masters 2 in Copenhagen and Valorant Champions in Istanbul

Riot has revealed the location and the dates for the final two International events in Valorant. The VCT Stage 2 Masters will take place in Copenhagen and the Valorant Champions 2022 will be in Istanbul this year.

Denmark will get its first official International Valorant event in Copenhagen this year. The Stage 2 Masters will culminate in Copenhagen and will feature the best teams from around the world.

VCT Masters Copenhagen will feature twelve teams on LAN from July 10-24. The teams will be competing for glory, VCT points and the title of being the best Valorant team in the world.

Each region has different number of slots for VCT Masters Copenhagen. Here are the slot distributions for the international event.

OpTiC Gaming won the Stage 1 Masters Reykjavik despite stiff competition from teams over the world. The team had a dominating upper bracket run, eventually taking down LOUD Gaming in the Grand finals.

Valorant esports has been extremely competitive over the past few months. The top six at VCT Masters Reykjavik were from six different regions, highlighting the competitive nature of the esport.

The Valorant Champions is an annual event that is the showcase for the entire year. Last year, the event took place in Berlin, this year, teams will head over to Istanbul for Valorant Champions 2022.

The top sixteen teams from all over the world will compete on LAN for the title and glory of being the best Valorant team this year.

More details about the Valorant Champions Istanbul will be released in the upcoming weeks says Riot. Riot also announced some changes to the 2023 Valorant esports circuit recently that will see weekly events and a ladder system.
