Riot Games has revealed multiple two-week long VALORANT Champions Tour 2024 kick-off events across every International League.

We have been given our first look at how the 2024 VCT will operate. Riot Games has announced the year-long schedule. There are your typical International League splits, and special VALORANT Champions Tour 2024 kick-off events across each league to get the ball rolling.

Within that schedule, you'll find Masters event in Madrid and Shanghai. For the former, the kick-off events will decide what teams attend. It is a great way to start the year with a bang and see who carries momentum over from 2023.

There's plenty to take in regarding the competitive VALORANT schedule in 2024. We've got new host cities, new Challengers details, and the removal of the LOCK//IN format. Riot Games has decided to open the year with a short bit of league competition.

China officially arrives as the fourth International League, and the two-week long kick-off events determine eight teams for Masters Madrid. The kick-off events will be in a double elimination format, and it is safe to assume each league will send two representatives to round out the field of eight in Spain.

The exact dates for each have not been revealed as of yet. We do know that they will start the season in January. More than likely, each of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2024 kick-off events will take place around a similar time.

As previously mentioned, the events will be a two-week long tournament across the International Leagues. This will then determine the participants for the first Masters event of the year in Madrid, prior to the first actual split beginning.
