Here is a rundown of VALORANT's newest Controller hailing from Croatia, Miks, and all of his music-based abilities.
Miks is the newest VALORANT Agent, making him the 29th playable character. Here’s a detailed look at Miks’ full kit, and in-game previews of how the Croatian Controller will look in your games.
He might be the 29th playable character, but he is Agent #30. This is because Agent #08 is still shrouded in mystery. Miks joining the roster also raises the number of Controllers to seven, evening it out with Initiators and Sentinels. Duelists remain the most populated at eight.

Miks ability rundown in VALORANT
Straight from Croatia, Miks takes the stage channeling pure sound energy. With his infectious passion and sonic powers, he rallies his squad to move as one as they set the tempo on the battlefield together.
C – M-pulse
EQUIP M-pulse. ALT-FIRE to toggle between Concuss and Healing outputs. FIRE to throw the device. Upon landing, M-pulse sends out sound waves, either Concussing or Healing players.
M-pulse gives Miks flexibility depending on what he and the rest of his team need. You can use it to push enemies out of areas or give yourself an advantage before contesting angles with the Concuss, or you can use it to top allies up with the Healing. Combined with his Q – Harmonize, Miks can give his team a big edge in gunfights. This ability has two charges.
A downside to this ability is the fact that it can be shot and removed from play prematurely.
Q – Harmonize
EQUIP Harmonize. Target an ally and FIRE to activate a Combat Stim on yourself and the ally that refreshes with each kill. ALT-FIRE to grant Combat Stim to yourself.
Most of the time, you’ll want to cast this on a teammate. The only time you want to use the alt-fire is if you’re in a 1vX situation or you don’t have any teammates in range. Miks’ Harmonize ability cannot go through walls, but you can cast it through smokes.
E – Waveform
EQUIP a Map Targeter. FIRE to set locations. ALT-FIRE to spawn Smokes at selected locations.
This is the usual “iPad” smoke that other Controllers like Brimstone and Clove have. Note that the buttons (FIRE, ALT-FIRE) are swapped for Console. This ability has two charges. As Miks’ Signature Ability, it has a cooldown. His smokes last 16 seconds and are hollow inside, like Omen’s.
X – Bassquake
EQUIP Bassquake. FIRE to build up and unleash Sonic Radiance forward, knocking back, Deafening, and Slowing players.
This is a strong area utility that can be used when about to execute or retake it. This is very much like Waylay’s ultimate ability, except it affects a cone instead of an area.
Miks will become playable on March 18, 2026. His preview and reveal were shown during Masters Santiago 2026, including a showmatch during the Grand Final.
