Riot Games unveils VCT Partner Series featuring tournament with up to 1,024 teams

The VALORANT season doesn’t end with Champions. Here’s a preview of all the events, including the newly announced VCT Partner Series.

Following the VALORANT Champions tournament in Paris, the competitive scene is still bustling with activity. Numerous events are lined up where top teams will compete for glory, promotion, and trophies. Let’s take a closer look at all the information we have gathered for the post-Champions preview, including the announced VCT Partner Series event.

Post-Champions preview

VALORANT Champions in Paris concludes on October 5, leaving about three months of competition until the year's end. New initiatives are emerging to enhance the VALORANT competitive season and increase visibility for diverse teams.

Challengers Ascension

The 2025 Ascension tournaments will take place from October 13 to 26, immediately following the Champions event. Top Challenger teams and Ascended teams will compete for their place in the International Leagues for 2026. You can already check out the schedules for all regions. The Ascended team can extend their stay if they qualify for Champions, but only one team can extend their presence.

Game Changers Championship lands in Seoul

For the first time, the Game Changers Championship will take place in Seoul, South Korea. It will happen in the LoL Park from November 20 to November 30. Ten teams will fight for the chance to take the Game Changers trophy home. You can check out more information about the tournament format here.

VCT Partner Series

Riot Games is introducing the VCT Partner Series, a segment of events between the VCT seasons. These events are just the first batch of tournaments to look forward to in the post-Champs period, and Riot is sharing additional details and updates closer to Champions.

Here are the international events you can look forward to after Champions:

Red Bull Home Ground World Final

  • Date: November 14-16
  • Taking place in the Americas, Red Bull Home Ground World Final will feature top VCT teams and qualified teams battling their way towards the finals, which will take place in New York.

SOOP VALORANT League Pacific

  • Date: December 1-7
  • Top teams from around the world will face off, providing a preview of how new rosters stack up ahead of the 2026 season.

Project Blender

  • Date: October - December
  • The Blender is a new VALORANT tournament taking place across the EMEA region. It features innovative rules and welcomes players from all skill levels through an open qualifier that can accommodate up to 1,024 teams. Throughout the tournament, teams from various categories — such as VRC, Premier, Challengers, Game Changers, and VCT EMEA — will compete for advancement. The top teams will clash in December to crown the inaugural champion.
