Recent leaks suggest that Riot will rework both Fracture and Lotus in V26A2, while Corrode and Abyss are set to leave the map pool rotation.

Both Corrode and Abyss are leaving the competitive map rotation in the VALORANT Act II, much to the delight of their haters. Taking their place are Fracture and Lotus. Some leaks have suggested upcoming reworks to both maps, so let’s talk about everything we know so far.

Corrode and Abyss leave the map pool rotation

According to the most recent leaks, Corrode and Abyss will leave the map pool rotation at the end of the Act, giving their places to Fracture and Lotus. Act I finishes on March 17, and the maps will be back in rotation right after.

But it’s not just about the maps returning to the competitive queue. Leaks suggest that both Fracture and Lotus could come with minor reworks. Since Riot hasn’t officially confirmed these changes, take this information with a grain of salt.

Lotus rework

One of the biggest VALORANT dataminers, valohabercisi, has revealed an image of what looks like the new A site on Lotus. In the picture, Riot removed the A stairs wall, giving attackers one less corner to check. We can also observe that the mid area looks slightly different, with the removal of the A main boxes. The spike planting area now covers a larger space.

On the other hand, the Harbor explainer video hinted at a Lotus rework, showing changes to the B site. Riot removed the hole in the right wall, blocking flashes like Gekko’s from passing through. The connection between A Main and the B site seems to have disappeared as well, with the breakable wall missing from the guide.

Attackers can no longer rotate quickly from A to B via the main zone, giving defenders an advantage and fewer surprises.

As for Fracture, no leaked information has surfaced yet, and most of the Lotus reworks were observed in Harbor’s ability videos. We will keep you updated on all!
