Former OG player, ISSAA announces switch to Valorant

One of the best CS: GO players from the Middle East transitions to Valorant.

Jordanian CS: GO player, Issa "ISSAA" Murad, has announced he is transitioning to a career in Valorant. The former OG and Hellraisers player last competed under Eternal Fire. He will play Valorant for YaLLA esports, a Middle East based team.

ISSAA’s last team was Eternal Fire, which comprised a majority Turkish roster. According to the organization, ISSAA could not adapt to Turkey and decided to return to his own country.

ISSAA rose to fame on HellRaisers when he qualified for the Faceit Major London 2018 and secured the Legends status. He was one of the standout performers at the event and a major reason for HellRaiser’s success at the event.

After HellRaisers ISSAA joined OG’s CS: GO roster playing alongside veterans such as NBK and AleksiB. He had several standout performances on the roster and was with them for nearly two years. He went inactive on the OG roster in March last year, before finally parting ways with OG in August. He joined Eternal Fire after that, but things did not work out.

A new dawn for ISSAA in Valorant

Putting Jordan on the Counter Strike map, ISSAA’s switch to Valorant is bound to give Riot’s FPS game a boost in the middle easter country. The player is popular for his raw aim and he has shown he is able to adapt to international teams and play under different leaders.

After all this years of playing CS: GO will be always in my heart- it's the game made me who i'm today, as well as all the support i've gotten from you guys, I love u a lot really I've decided to switch valorant with YaLLaEsports.

The team will most likely compete in VCT EMEA although they have not yet announced their plans. Riot Games recently announced several changes to the VCT 2023 circuit that will see international LANs and weekly tournaments.
