DarXcio: 14-year-old player hits Rank 1 in the VALORANT

If there was ever a time to feel very old when like me, you find yourself floating around unranked. Well, just remember that the top player in the world is a 14-year-old. The now-top ranked VALORANT player DarXcio achieved the rank on Jan. 26 after three years of playing at Radiant level.

Known online as DarXcio, he is a 14-year-old VALORANT player. According to his Twitch he aims to become a professional Valorant player and first hit the rank Radiant--the highest in VALORANT--at just age 11. This impressive milestone of reaching Rank 1 in the world comes after three years of playing in Radiant. Even more impressive is that this was most likely on a European server, which is notoriously hard to climb.

He has demonstrated just how incredible of a player he is to be able to reach Rank 1 in the world at such a young age. This is reflected in his stats. Not only does he have a 62.8 percent average--704 hits--in body shots. He also holds a 31.1 percent accuracy in head shots.

For fans of DarXcio, it won’t be news that two of his most played agents are Raze and Jett. Having played 18 hours on both agents equating to over 30 matches on each Agent during this current season.

Additionally DarXcio Jett has a 61.8 percent win rate; to coincide with his most used weapon – the Vandal assault rifle, which he has 2.2k kills on.

Having now reached rank one in Radiant on an EU server, it is highly likely we will see DarXcio receive offers from teams. Hopefully enabling him to fulfil his goal of becoming a pro player in VALORANT. If being rank one in EU is anything to go by at age 14, he has a long very successful career ahead of him.
