Usama Abbasi and AO defeated their opponents in the winners semi-finals and guaranteed themselves spots in the main event. The other two qualified players are Sajawal and Hafiz Tanveer.
Usama Abbasi played Dragunov in the winners final, but when AO had the match point (with Victor), he switched to Jun and won the fight. In the grand final, Usama Abbasi played against AO again, and this time, he won with Dragunov only.

TEKKEN 8 Esports World Cup 2024: LCQ schedule
The TEKKEN 8 LCQ for EWC 2024 has a registration cap of 256 players, and it almost reached it with 235 attendees. To determine the winner and four qualified competitors, the tournament has three main stages that go on for three days. The TEKKEN 8 EWC 2024 LCQ happens from Aug. 15 to Aug. 17. With 28 of the best TEKKEN 8 players in the world already qualified for the EWC, the tasks at the LCQ may seem to be simpler. It’s an illusion. The level of competitors here is beyond any measure! Some of the all-time legendary players are among the participants.
We can name just a few examples of notable participants to keep an eye on. Regardless of the final results, these players always bring excellent TEKKEN gameplay to the table.

- JDCR — This Korean player is known for his successes with quite a few TEKKEN titles. JDCR is the Evo 2014 champion for TEKKEN Tag Tournament 2, which clearly speaks about his experience in the series. Throughout the TEKKEN 8 EWC qualifiers, JDCR always missed just something, even in terms of technical issues, as it was at DreamHack Dallas.
- JoKa — This player actively participates in various TEKKEN 8 tournaments around the world, and he has a pretty decent placement on the TEKKEN World Tour (TWT) leaderboard. JoKa was one step from qualifying at CEO 2024, where he finished in 4th place.
- Saint — He is the Evo 2016 champion for TEKKEN 7) and The King of Iron Fist Tournament 2016 winner.
- Shadow 20z — This player is one of just two American players who is currently in the top 8 on the TWT 2024 global leaderboard.
- Danielmado — This player represents a young power of European TEKKEN. At the TWT Challenger event OTB 2024, this Italian player was stopped only by a Korean titan, Mulgold.
- Awais Honey — This is a Pakistani player who had good results in TEKKEN 7. Now, Awais Honey travels rarely, so it’s a good opportunity to see him back on the international scene.
- Tekken Master — This player actually a successful Mortal Kombat player and the winner of Mortal Kombat 1 UFA 2023. People performing well in a few games is proof of exceptional skills. Tekken Master reached the top 8 at Evo Japan 2024.
