Rainbow Six Siege is available on multiple platforms including PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. And players can compete against each other on these platforms. However, some players have reported not being able to play Rainbow Six on Microsoft’s console even if they own the game.

Even if you own the game, you will still need to purchase a Game Pass Core or a Game Pass Ultimate to access the game. The Game Pass Core subscription was previously called Xbox Live Gold. 

Xbox Game Pass Core costs £7 / $10 a month, or £40 / $60 per year. It also includes 36 games including games that are a part of exclusive deals.

What is Xbox Game Pass Core?

Game Pass Core is the evolution of Xbox Live Gold and includes access to online console multiplayer, a catalog of over 25 high-quality games to play on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles, member deals, and more. 

Microsoft announced Game Pass Core in July this year and it went live in September. The Game Pass Core featured more than 25 titles at launch, including several multiplayer tactical FPS titles. In the announcement blog, Microsoft also stated that new titles will be added to the list 2-3 times a year. This ensures Game Pass Core subscribers always have something new to look forward to.
