Search has long been the domain for Google’s business. With search at its core, Google has been able to massively scale its business and even ventured out into other parallel markets. Most recently, Google also revealed its Artificial Intelligence, although it came much later than OpenAI’s ChatGPT. OpenAI is an American artificial intelligence (AI) research organization that has been in the news for its text-based AI usage. The organization - founded in 2015 - has largely seen text-based usage models so far and it has been a rousing success.
OpenAI’s ChatGPT was the fastest product to reach a 100 million users, achieving the target in just two months of launch. Notably, this would not be the first challenger for Google Search. Google has seen and continues to see competition from several rivals including Microsoft. Microsoft has Edge browser and Bing, which is its own search engine and acts as worth adversary to Google. There are other search engines such as DuckDuckGo. Bing, Yahoo and more. At the time of writing, Google commands the overwhelming majority of search engine market share. For any other org to make a dent in Google’s dominance, it would be a significant event.

The approach to capturing the Search market would require an intricate understanding of the target audience.
