TFT patch 16.7 follows the Unlock update from patch 16.6 and introduces only small, safe changes ahead of the Lore & Legends Tactician's Crown esports competition.

Teamfight Tactics (TFT)’s Lore & Legends Tactician’s Crown event kicks off on March 27, and ahead of the esports action, Riot Games made some small updates in TFT patch 16.7. Read on for the TFT patch 16.7 notes and details.

TFT patch 16.7 notes

According to Katie “Riot Ukime” Guo and Rodger “Riot Prism” Caudill, TFT patch 16.7 follows the major Unlock update from patch 16.6. The team is generally happy with the balance of that patch. Therefore, with 16.7 being the one going into the Lore & Legends Tactician’s Crown, only smaller and safer changes are part of it.

The patch highlights include buffs to Teemo, Tristana, Kobuko, Vayne, Kai’Sa, Seraphine, Yunara, Aatrox, and T-Hex. Meanwhile, nerfs go to Galio, Fyze, Sylas, and Xerath. There are also nerfs to six augments.

Of the Tier 2 units, power gets shifted back into reroll options after reducing Yordle (8) last patch. Teemo gains higher primary target damage while Tristana receives increased spell damage. As for Tier 3, there are buffs to underperformers and adjustments to overperformers. That is, Kobuko now has stronger self-healing and Vayne receives another damage buff in an attempt to make her at least B Tier.

Kai’Sa’s AP build, Seraphine’s Crystal damage, and Yunara’s spell attack speed all receive targeted buffs as well in Tier 4. Tier 5, meanwhile, features Galio, Ryze, Sylas, and Xerath nerfs plus Aatrox spell damage and T-Hex Base buffs.

“Our T-Hex buff may look dramatic, but with their time needed to channel their ability, it won’t end up being too significant,” Riot Games explained. “And yes, we simmed multiple Rageblade T-Hex – it is not good.”
