The TFT Paris Open 2025 Main Event happens between Dec. 12 and Dec. 14. It features 768 players duking it out across five rounds over these three days. Competitors are divided into pools of eight before each round, and they advance based on the points earned in each round. All of the matches are broadcast live starting at 3 a.m. PT to 12 p.m. CET each day as well.

TFT Paris Open: What to expect

On Day 1 of the TFT Paris Open, the 768 players are put into three groups of 256 across 32 lobbies each. This is Round 1. Competitors play four games, and the top two per lobby plus the next 64 highest scorers advance. Meanwhile, 512 players are eliminated.

On Day 2, 256 players compete in three games in Round 2, and the top four per lobby advance. Round 3 then happens with 128 players, and the top four per lobby go on as well. Round 4 then features 64 players duking it out under the checkmate format.

Finally, on Day 3, the remaining eight players must fight under checkmate format again. This involves someone reaching 20 points to put the lobby under the format. Then, whichever player with 20 or more points wins a game becomes the TFT Paris Open 2025 champion.
