TFT patch 14.7 notes were released with the Cyber City Tactician’s Crown tournament in mind.

Riot Games has revealed all of the details for the new Teamfight Tactics (TFT) patch. Read on for all of the TFT 14.7 patch notes, release date, and more.

TFT 14.7 release date

TFT 14.7 arrives on June 25, and ahead of this release date, Katie "Riot Ukime" Guo and Rodger "Riot Prism" Caudill posted about what folks can expect in the game. Stephen "Riot Mortdog" Mortimer went over the update in his latest rundown on YouTube as well.

TFT patch 14.7 notes

Here are all of the official TFT patch 147 notes. This Set 14 update is a lighter one that focuses on the competitive side of the meta since the Cyber City Tactician's Crown tournament will run between July 11 and July 13.

There are some interesting adjustments to the Double Up mode, however. For example, Teamwork Cannon now bases its cooldown on unit cost rather than star level, with cooldowns of 3 to 5 rounds depending on cost. It can only send 1-star units now as well. As for Duplicator Gift Armory, it now offers three Lesser Duplicators. Meanwhile, ReinFOURcements is no longer in this game mode. According to Riot Games, the goal here is to reduce the 3-star 4-costs.

TFT Set 14 Tactician's Crown

As noted, the Cyber City Tactician's Crown event will happen between July 11 and July 13. This tournament will not only feature 40 of the world's best players, but also a prize pool of $470,000 USD. Similar to Tactician's Crown events, whoever wins this one will get a spot in the TFT Set 15 tournament.

Joseph "Dishsoap" Goldsmith won the Into the Arcane Tactician's Crown earlier this year. Will he be able to defend North America's title? Only time will tell. The total of 40 players will include 11 from the Asia-Pacific (APAC), 10 from China (CN), 10 from the Americas (AMER), and nine from the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.
