Teamfight Tactics and variety streamer Boxbox’s survivor-style competition featuring a $25,000 prize pool, additional prizes, and a new league has commenced for Set 9.5!

Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Set 9.5 just went live today. With the release, the Set 9.5 Boxbox Bootcamp has begun. This iteration is the biggest it's ever been, with three divisions and 140 total participants!

What is the Boxbox Bootcamp competition?

Boxbox selected 140 streamers to participate in the Set 9.5 Boxbox Bootcamp. They were split into three leagues:

  • Pro League
  • Advanced League
  • Casual League.

Much like the Set 9 Boxbox Bootcamp, competitors will need to survive in order to make it to the top. Over the course of two weeks of ranked North American ladder play, the lowest-ranked competitors will be eliminated until one winner prevails.

Competitors must stream at least half of their games and will be rewarded with gifted subscriptions. The winner of each league will receive an extra prize on top of the largest split of the prize pool. You can find more details on the rules here.

A new 'Advanced league'

Similar to previous iterations, the Pro League consists of streamers known for their skill in TFT. Most of them play TFT for a living, are regularly Challenger (the highest rank in TFT), and some compete in professional tournaments.

Boxbox added the Advanced League to provide a more competitive league for those who aren't quite at the level of the pros yet but are not new or beginners at TFT. Players in this league range from Platinum to Diamond/Master. Finally, the Casual League includes streamers who are relatively new to the game and are in the process of exploring and learning the game.

Who are the Boxbox Bootcamp participants?

With 140 streamers and three leagues, your favorite TFT professionals and Twitch streamers might be participating. Set 8.5 and Set 9 Boxbox Bootcamp Pro League winner Robinsongz returns to defend his title, looking to three-peat his champion status. Additionally, Set 9 Boxbox Bootcamp Casual League winner Juliebou joins the Advanced League in an attempt to become another back-to-back winner. Here's everyone involved in the Set 9.5 Boxbox Bootcamp.
