Will M.Bison help someone qualify for Esports World Cup 2024?
The main reason for esports professionals to participate in The MIXUP 2024 Street Fighter 6 tournament is to try to reach the top 2 placements and qualify for the 2024 Esports World Cup (EWC). Beyond that, it’s a chance to test the recently added DLC character, M.Bison, in hot competitive matches. Both of these reasons make the event super interesting to follow. All the information about Street Fighter 6 at The MIXUP 2024 is here.
The MIXUP 2024 Street Fighter 6 results
After a few attempts to qualify for the Esports World Cup 2024, AngryBird was apparently super motivated to succeed at The MIXUP 2024. In the Winners Semi-Final, he faced NoahTheProdigy, and that was a very classic Street Fighter 6 match, with pretty traditional for this game movesets: Ken vs Luke. AngryBird showed that he knows the basics perfectly well — his Ken won with a clear 3:0.
The winners final against Leshar was much more difficult. The opponent reached match point, and AngryBird had to perform a comeback from just a little health. Leshar played Ed, and he was so good at keeping Ken at a distance and choosing proper positioning for mid-range attacks. Eventually, AngryBird broke this strategy, found a good approach, and won this match.
NoahTheProdigy had three close matches in the losers brackets: against Valmaster, Big Bird, and Leshar. All of them finished with 3:2s, and NoahTheProdigy proceeded to the grand final to play vs AngryBird again.
Grand Final
This was another great match of classic Street Fighter 6. After a great run in the losers, NoahTheProdigy couldn't crack the defense of his opponent. AngryBird reached the match point and lost only one game before becoming The SF6 MIXUP 2024 champion. Congratulations!

Street Fighter 6 Esports World Cup 2024
Many great players have already qualified for the big final tournament at EWC 2024. However, there are only six spots left. Two of them can be won at the Riyadh Festival Last Change Qualifier (LCQ), and two more are for the top 2 placements at The MIXUP 2024. There is a chance that someone like Big Bird, who earned his invite at DreamHack Summer 2024, will be at the top of this event, too. Then, someone with a lower placement will qualify for Street Fighter 6 EWC 2024 instead.
All the players who are participating in the EWC 2024 are listed in the table below.
