White Speed is back in the spotlight following claims from a man who says he previously worked as his cameraman and editor.

A person named Maba, who introduced himself as White Speed’s helper/cameraman/editor during the early days of IShowSpeed’s Africa tour, posted a video on X, accusing the stream sniper of not paying him for his services.

Maba also claimed that White Speed’s ability to track down Speed’s locations stems from having a contact within Speed’s team, who allegedly feeds him information about Speed’s current and upcoming whereabouts.

A breakdown of cameraman’s allegation against White Speed

As mentioned in his video, which has garnered over 400,000 views by now, Maba said that he was with White Speed all the time while the stream sniper was tailing IShowSpeed in South Africa.

Maba, who owns a small marketing agency, saw an opportunity to grow his business by working with White Speed. He agreed to assist with stream sniping on the condition that White Speed would cover all of his expenses during the tour.

Maba’s help ranges from setting up White Speed’s live streams and acquiring SIM cards, to becoming his cameraman. Maba added that he did all of this with little sleep, since he was also tasked to edit White Speed’s content at night.

Despite their initial agreement, Maba said White Speed refused to cover his food and drink expenses, forcing him to pay for his basic needs. Maba then sought alternative compensation by asking White Speed to feature his marketing agency’s logo during Twitch live streams, but the request was also denied.

Instead, White Speed offered to split subscription earnings with Maba on a 50–50 basis. However, Maba said it later became clear that White Speed was not interested in mutual growth, adding that “he [White Speed] only wants growth for himself while avoiding all the risks.”

Maba also pointed out another red flag, saying that White Speed frequently relied on locals to cover most of his expenses. According to him, White Speed would only pay a small portion and often avoided discussing payments, putting them in awkward situations where they couldn’t say no.

A mole in IShowSpeed’s team?

Maba later even dropped an even bigger allegation after saying that throughout his time with White Speed, he found out that someone in IShowSpeed’s team was feeding White Speed information on Speed’s location without any consent from the American streamer.

Maba didn’t name the alleged insider, but said the mole accompanied Speed during the Speed Does America tour. White Speed has yet to comment on the claims.
