AOC to play Madden with Tim Walz on Twitch: Date, time and more

Questioning whether you read the title of this article correctly? Well, you did. US Congresswoman, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) and Democratic VP running mate, Tim Walz, are going live tomorrow on Twitch to play Madden in hopes of swaying young undecided voters.

However, this is not the first move on utilizing Twitch by either party.

The two popular politicians are set to play against each other in multiple rounds of Madden on Twitch. AOC recently made the announcement via her Twitter:

"This is a TWITCH Public Service Announcement. Me vs Tim Walz. Madden."

This news comes less than a week after Bernie Sanders joined Pokimane and Valkyrae on Twitch, hoping to educate young undecided voters.

With so many people utilizing the popular streaming platform every day, it is a no-brainer that these politicians start tapping into Twitch, YouTube, and more. In fact, Donald Trump even went live with Adin Ross on Kick just the other month.

Sure, the two will more than likely be discussing politics, but they will also simply be having fun while getting to play the popular video game in front of a large audience.

AOC has been seen multiple times in the past on Twitch, playing games like Among Us and more, so this is not her first gaming rodeo. Walz, however, is well known for his coaching and football past. Will he be able to translate into the popular football video game?
