Amouranth has confirmed that her husband is seeking professional help.
Kaitlyn Siragusa, better known under streaming alias "Amouranth" has confirmed that she is ok and that her husband Nick Lee is seeking professional help.
This comes just days after the streamer has exposed the nature of their relationship in a live stream. Amouranth disappeared from her stream for around an hour and a half before returning to camera on the phone to her husband.
In the original stream, Amouranth alleged that Lee had threatened to "kill her dogs" and take away all of their money.
Following the heartwrenching stream, Amouranth went on a two-day social media hiatus. She made her return to provide an update to fans on her wellbeing. Siragusa confirmed that she is safe and ok and that her husband is seeking help.
She said on stream: "I felt so alone for so long and now I can't get people to stop talking to me... For now, the situation is calm. I'm just glad that the dogs are ok."
Amouranth still needs some time to get things in order before returning to her normal streaming schedule. A number of people have offered support and love to her over the past few days.
Amouranth added: "I just needed some time to process things and get my thoughts together before streaming again. I'm just trying to think about what to do next.
"I'm just trying to pick up the pieces and move on. I am exploring options and I am grateful for the support. It's crazy how many people I have in my corner."
"He's pretended to be a conduit of my welfare"
One person who was seemingly involved in the situation was long-time friend and colleague Marz "TheRealMarzbar". Amouranth alleged that Marz has been using the situation for his own stature. She also confirmed that he had been removed from his position as content lead/cameraman.
"I'm just trying to pick up the pieces and move on. I am exploring options and I am grateful for the support. It's crazy how many people I have in my corner."
Marz claims to have known Amouranth for eight years. Meaning that he should be very aware of the situation between Amouranth and her husband Nick Lee.
She said: "Some people seem to be using the situation for personal gain and clout, which is less moving. Unfortunately one of my former cameramen seems to be one of those people. Over the TwitchCon weekend, he withheld information and sat on communications that made certain situations more explosive than they needed to be."

"In the past few days he's pretended to be a conduit of my welfare on Twitter and badgering other staff to give him information. I feel like he's just out of line right now after the way he acted at the convention.
"He has known me longer than anyone. I don't like that he is labelling other people as enablers. He has known about the situation for so long. It feels really weird."
Marz has also allegedly been sending people to visit Siragusa to check on her well-being. If he has indeed done so, that is a clear and blatant violation of privacy on behalf of Amouranth.
She added: "He has encouraged other people that I don't know to turn up at my door... I carefully guard my personal information. I don't think it should be unguarded without my consent. That's why I haven't been on, I've been dealing with everything. That includes a lot of random visitors and cop calls."
What's next for Amouranth?
Amouranth alleged that her husband Nick Lee had threatened to kill her dogs. Now that he's been removed from the situation, she wants to take some time to be with her animals.
She said: "Over the next week I'm going to take some time to process and spend time with the animals now that I'm not stressed that they are going to be killed. I can actually relax a bit, I just want to get back to what I like doing. I am happy that I am free but it is still a lot."
Amouranth may be stepping back from being a full-time streamer. He brand of content will likely see a big change over the coming weeks.
She outlined how she wants to be doing more streams with animals and that she can just be a little more normal in her day-to-day life.
Amouranth said: "I don't know when or if I will be back to a full-time schedule. For now at least, I'm going to take it easy. I don't have to [show] cleavage every day, I can wear clothes. It's a lot. It doesn't even feel real."
